Certifications of our plants : ISO 9001

Our European plants have the ISO certification: 9001. This quality management system is the global benchmark for providing assurance about the ability to satisfy quality requirements and to enhance customer satisfaction in supplier-customer relationships.

Certifications of our products in the European Community : CE

In order to use our drop-on products freely in the European Community, our products must have the CE certificate in accordance with the specifications defined in the harmonized standard EN1423.  Our glass beads produced in all of our plants are certified CE. The notified bodies are COPRO for Sovitec Belgium (1137-CPD-0471) and Sovitec Germany (1137-CPD-04173), LCPC for Sovitec France (1165-CPD-2005-PS-01) and AENOR for Sovitec Iberica (00999/CPD/A72/0001).

Product certifications for national markets : Benor and AENOR

Some national authorities imposent supplementary controls. Belgium has defined technical prescriptions for drop-on and premix beads:

NBN EN 1423 (drop-on) + PTV 881
NBN EN 1424 (premix) + PTV 882
N° of Belgian license : 471/81
N° of German license : 473/81

Sovitec Iberica also has the national Spanish certification:
N AENOR for drop-on glass beads. 

System certifications for road markings

In collaboration with our partners and customers, we realise numerous certifications in different markets, either through road trials (EN1824) or through the turntable simulator (EN13197). We also have system certifications with performances under different conditions (EN1436).
